Why would your church value such a service?
Unburdening the Preacher
My belief is that the preacher of a congregation should not have to spend his time arranging audio and uploading it to a church's website; that takes valuable time away from Bible study. Sermon Select can do this for you with very little effort or time required from your church.
Quality Audio End Product
As it is time consuming, and as most people are not trained in audio engineering, the result is often a recording that could and should sound a whole lot better. The sermons, gospel series, or classes should be edited to remove unnecessary silent gaps and the sound should be improved to its utmost in order to be pleasing for the listener. I will actually edit the recordings (without removing content) in such a way that it would flow and sound as if it were on the radio.
Proliferation of the Gospel
"The Herald of Truth"; I want to recreate that via the internet. Not only will Sermon Select handle an individual church's recorded audio, but a second website - Sermon Select Online is available for every seeker to find in ONE place sermons, classes, lectures, etc. from MANY churches! I have set up that site to be a location to listen to constant streaming audio (meaning that sermons can be listened to directly on the site), to download sermons, and a Podcast option which allows people to subscribe - with the click of a button and the sermons will automatically upload to their computer for listening, or to download to a personal MP3 player.
Valuable Tool for Missionaries
Can you imagine what a tool this could be for ministers that travel the four corners of the globe?! Consider the missionaries to China (or anywhere else, for that matter) recommending Sermon Select Online for instruction in all righteousness from many preachers - in one location on the internet! God's people everywhere want to hear His word, and one location to hear many teachers is more advantageous.
Ministry to Shut-ins and Military
How about the good folks in nursing homes, too sick to attend worship services with the people they love? Or members of the church serving in the armed forces outside the country? Sermon Select will be able to produce quality, easy to hear CDs that can be given to the infirmed during a visit by members of the congregation or mailed to military personnel in care packages. They could even partake in an entire gospel series, or a semester worth of adult classes from their place of residence or service. People who love the Lord, love to hear His word preached!
As a summary of my services: Sermon Select will receive sermons from your individual church, optimize the recording's sound and "flow", prepare the recordings for posting on your church’s own website, provide the required copies of CDs or MP3 CDs, and/or make the sermons available on our own website in several different formats. The possibilities are very exciting, and I want to dedicate my time to providing these services! Very little effort will be required from your church itself, nor the valuable time of the preachers, elders, deacons etc. Sermon Select will provide all of this in a professional, scheduled manner! It's our ministry in Christ.
